Milbry Polk's Photography
I have been passionate about photography since my father gave me an old Rolleiflex when I was nine. I had my first show in my teens. and soon thereafter began photographing for magazines and books.
My inspiration comes most often from landscapes. I try to capture an essence of the place. Having spent many years traveling in the Middle East, I am now more focused on the Arctic, whose windswept barren vistas remind me of my youth in the Western Desert.
